The Philippines' Department of National Defense has announced the purchase of three new C-130J-30 Super Hercules tactical airlifters from Lockheed Martin through a Direct Commercial Sale. By choosing the C-130J, the Philippines is joining 21 other nations that use the Super Hercules for tactical airlift missions. These aircraft are expected to be delivered in 2026. The Philippine Air Force (PAF) will operate them, enhancing their capabilities to meet evolving tactical mission requirements.
