On August 14, 2023, the Polish Armaments Agency signed three contracts with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), a local military consortium. The first contract involves PGZ company Rosomak supplying 400 Light Reconnaissance Vehicles with a 4x4 chassis to the Polish Armed Forces at a cost of 1.2 billion zlotys ($292.9 million) for delivery between 2024 and 2030. The second contract, with Huta Stalowa Wola, entails the delivery of several hundred heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs) in various configurations, potentially incorporating the domestic ZSSW unmanned turret, alongside logistics and training equipment. The base for these vehicles is the Krab chassis, but specific configurations are yet to be determined. Lastly, PGZ secured a framework contract for the development of a new Wheeled Armoured Personnel Carrier (NKTO) featuring a Remotely Controlled Armament Module (ZSMU). If development proves successful, an optional order for nearly a thousand NKTO units equipped with ZSMU could be placed between 2028 and 2035.
