Atec have added Social Value to it's Core Values after feedback from our employees that the business was not highlighting our deep and sustained commitment to our local community through Social Value to our customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

In 2022 Atec have put Wellbeing for our people at the forefront by providing Mental Health and Wellbeing Days for our staff along side trialling a four day working week to offer a greater work life balance.

We have also championed Social Value in our communities by providing work experience to local schools, and partnering up with a local high school on a REACH mentoring programme to help underprivelged students develop employability skills and to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunites that are available in their local areas once they leave school.

Atec also partnered with Make UK on National Manufacturing Day this summer where we hosted sessions for Engineering Students from a local college, and group of students from a local primary school. The day was valuable for both the business and the students who attended and has inspired us to keep championing the next generation of engineers and manufacturers by providing them with the tools and skills that they need to succeed.

Social Value have and will always be paramount to us and how we operate, and we hope that we can continue to uplift and enrich the manufacturing community in the North West through our commitments to Net Zero, Apprenticeships, Work Experience, Charity and Wellbeing.
