With over 50 years’ experience in the aerospace sector, we provide specialist industry and product knowledge in order to support our customers’ platforms.  Critical to this is our knowledge and ability to manufacture from high performing materials which provides quality reassurance to each of our customers.

We are committed to providing components to the highest standard with accompanying documentation and traceability and are approved to both aerospace standard AS9100D and ISO9001:2015.

Our specialist and standard products are found across a range of applications including: avionics,  actuation, landing gear, interiors, fuel control and engine systems as well as other hydraulic and pneumatic applications for many major OEMs. As such we hold many customer approvals.

With sustainability and renewable energy being hot topics we are keen to lessen our impact on the planet and are always looking into new ways to achieve this.  The most recent step towards becoming leaner and more eco-friendly is the installation of solar panels to our roof.

We’re already re-cycling our waste from silicone production which would otherwise have been consigned to landfill, and company cars are now hybrid or electric, but we realise we must continue to explore all options available to us for a brighter future.

In addition to safeguarding the planet we also work hard to protect SBR’s future by investing further in our award-winning apprenticeship scheme.  At present we employ four apprentices, two of whom have recently completed their two-year NVQ courses in a wide range of disciplines.
