At SBR we recognise the importance of future-proofing the business and investing in apprentices. Due to additional growth in the Aerospace, Defence and Medical markets, we have been spurred on to expand our apprentice programme.  Over the past few years we have taken on several additional personnel which included six apprentices, and this number will soon be increased to eight.

Apprenticeships bring mutual benefits to both the business and apprentices alike, and have produced highly skilled employees as a result.  Current apprenticeships being undertaken include:

• L5 - Operations Departmental Management
• L4 - Junior Management Consultant
• L3 – Business Administration
• L2 – Engineering Operative

We are proud to announce that, due to our success, SBR has recently been awarded Best Apprenticeship Employer (SME – Under 250 employees) category at the PETA Training Awards.
