A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC)
The 1-day A2CofC Course meets the requirements of the UK CAA, where all candidates learn the fundamentals of safely operating an RPAS. The Course primarily intended to ensure safe and legal RPAS operations close to uninvolved persons and flight within congested areas. Covering theoretical knowledge of the technical and operational mitigations for ground risk. Successful course completion will result in an A2 Certificate of Competence.
All candidates will be expected to complete pre-course learning through EEIs e-learning platform, followed by classroom-based instructor led theory which culminates in a written examination.

By successfully completing our course theory phase, candidates will be eligible for the A2CofC after demonstrating RPAS flying competency by presenting evidence of 2 hours of flight logs.
