The team at Acal BFI offer an industry leading range of open-standard configurable rugged COTS computer systems, enabling you to combine our smart function modules, boards, power supplies and software into a rugged chassis of choice. We also work with specialists in the industry to build bespoke platforms covering rugged platforms for Military AI, Robotics and HPC solutions, with the option of liquid cooling.
Add your unique application and deliver a system that meets your specific requirements quickly and with little or no NRE. These systems can be configured with or without an SBC and are designed to operate reliably in extreme temperature, shock, vibration (MIL-STD-810), EMI environments, waterproof (IP67), and if required EN-50155 rail certified platforms.
Rugged embedded computers offer great flexibility to meet ever-changing requirements for long-term applications with customisable-off-the-shelf (COTS) design. AcroPack®, Industry Pack, PMC, XMC, Mini PCIe, M.2 and mSATA slots allow the addition of specialised I/O, storage, and FPGA modules. Optional removable solid-state drives allow large amounts of data storage plus quick security access. These rugged, small form factor computers are designed for a variety of extreme rugged military, aerospace and transportation applications.
