The BQ400 is a sub 2 kg quadcopter Unmanned Aerial Target (UAT) designed to mimic the size and flight characteristics of popular commercially available quadcopters. The BQ400 was designed to be highly manoeuvrable in both automatic and Pilot-in-Command (PIC) control modes, allowing the design and execution of complex flight profiles. The BQ400 can reach straight-line ground speeds of up to 17.5 m/s in mild to moderate wind conditions.
