The DATS is automated test equpment designed to test the T55 DECU without the need for a live engine test bed and allows independent testing of a DECU to help isolate faults on the aircraft. The system is first line test equipment to support the user’s maintenance procedures.
The main features of DATS system are:

- Automatic test results display, recording and reporting
