Knight Optical can provide stock and custom precision eyepiece graticules (reticules) which are manufactured by photolithographically printing a pattern onto a glass substrate, usually float glass. Our graticules are used in gun sights, scopes, ranging systems, as well as handheld measuring tools such as loupes and magnifiers. 

Our stock eyepiece graticules come in 19mm, 21mm, or 23mm diameters and different patterns are available including:

• Cross lines
• Scales 
• Protractor
• Concentric circles
• Grids

The patterns on an eyepiece are generally very application specific which is why Knight Optical provides custom graticules to our customers. Patterns can be printed on different materials including fused silica, N-BK7, filter glass, and more. 

Using our Starrett AV300 Video Imaging System the precision patterns on our graticules can be verified to micron tolerances to ensure conformity to their specifications.
