Arcadia Desiccant Technology’s pressed desiccant is designed to fit where it is not possible to use standard desiccant bags or conventional desiccator products. This will usually be because there is a lack of available space, or the mechanical requirements of the equipment being protected. It can be used in very tight spaces whilst also providing structural strength.

It is designed to provide an optimum balance between strength, adsorption rate, moisture capacity, and thermal resistance. These pressed desiccant pieces can be held in place with mechanical fixings, adhesives, or double-sided pressure sensitive tapes.

These pressed desiccants provide a uniform environment for complete humidity control. They are clean, flexible, high-capacity adsorbing products and are ideally suited to most applications.

This pressed desiccant material can be manufactured into complex shapes through machining from a larger block, these varying sizes and shapes can ensure a proper fit for products with volumes of nearly any size or geometry. It can also support internal threading for multi-part assemblies.
