The Pandemic Chain describes the three stages of a pandemic from early warning indicators, through global spread via transport vectors to global outbreaks.  Mercury Health aims to break this chain early, by identifying locations of early warning indicators and providing transport information such as vessel location, scheduled flights and the location of those enroute to enable decision makers to take action to prevent a local disease from developing into a pandemic.
