The VALOR Core VR medical simulation curriculum contains a variety of scenarios spanning the full spectrum of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC),  Prolonged Casualty Care (PCC), Small Unit Care (SUC), Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) medicine, and mandatory certifications (CERT). Appropriate for all TCCC responder levels. Includes multi-patient and mass casualty scenarios, as well as a large-scale multi-team full mission profile scenario that spans care at the point of injury, during helicopter transport, and at a role 2 military treatment facility, including transload and handoff between treatment teams.

The curriculum is designed to allow learners to “train how they fight,” by combining medical realism with psychoenvironmental realism to ensure trainees experience the stressors and distractors of deployed medicine. The Core package includes a broad range of simulated environments, patients, sets, kits, outfits, and tools necessary to increase immersion and enrich the VR learning experience.
