VALOR TCCC-ARC (Advanced Resuscitative Care)
The VALOR ARC curriculum contains a variety of immersive scenarios intended to train advanced providers in the prehospital management of severe traumatic injuries requiring immediate intervention. Clinical scenarios span a variety of management challenges, such as difficult airways, noncompressible hemorrhage, and polytrauma. Based on the Advanced Resuscitative Care guidelines, trainees gain experience in a variety of advanced interventions, such as resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta (REBOA) and the massive transfusion protocol (MTP). VALOR ARC was developed in collaboration with the University of Alabama - Birmingham Department of Acute Care Surgery and the Air Force Special Operations Center for Medical Integration and Development.
