The ability to measure wind before an airdrop (typically from higher altitudes by parachute) with a high degree of accuracy is vital to the safe and accurate resupply of personnel and equipment. Flare Bright has adapted its SnapShot gliding nanodrone to measure wind quickly, efficiently and inexpensively to a high degree of fidelity and granularity dropping from any height. Once measured, the information can be sent directly to the aircraft to instantaneously plan the flight path for optimal airdrop.
